Favorite Aspects: To be part of a diverse campus is great. It allows every individual to learn about different cultures and different perspectives on important issues that they would not otherwise have been exposed to. I was drawn to Dickinson for its rich diversity and am proud that I am able to be a part of the growing diversity on campus.

Words of Wisdom: Stay focused and avoid procrastination.

Activities: Posse, Sustained Dialogue, UMOJA, LAS, Salsa.

Jarrin Rozenblad ’10

Hometown:
Williamsport, Pa.

Major:
Biology

E-mail:
rozenblj@dickinson.edu

Favorite Aspects: To be a part of a diverse campus is to have an interesting community experience. We as students form a community and diversity is a part of that community. I think diversity makes things more interesting and more comfortable. We can learn so much from each other that we would never have known just by looking at someone. So being part of a diverse campus provides a unique chance to grow and learn things from other people.

Words of Wisdom: Sometimes different is uncomfortable, but different could be the new regular.

Activities: Victory Circle, Circle K, UMOJA, African-American Society, Dickinson Volunteer Network.
