Special Visit Programs - Dickinson Dimensions Days

These events are designed for rising juniors and seniors to provide a dynamic illustration of the diversity of thought, action and being that is typified by Dickinson students. The next special visit programs will be offered in July 2008 and will provide you with a more in-depth look at Dickinson College.

Information Sessions

Information Sessions are conducted by admissions staff members and provide an excellent opportunity to learn about the college’s distinctive mission and programs, faculty and student experiences, and the admission, scholarship and financial-aid processes.

Information Sessions are typically conducted by admissions staff members at 10:15 a.m. Monday through Friday. Beginning in July and continuing until the end of August, information sessions will be offered daily at both 10:15 and 2:15 p.m. Monday through Friday. We will not offer 10:15 a.m. Information Sessions on July 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30.

Campus Tours

Our tour guides typically conduct tours Monday through Friday at 9 and 11 a.m. and 1, 2 and 3 p.m. To confirm availability and schedule a campus tour in advance, please call us at 800-644-1773. We will not offer 9 and 11 a.m. Tours Sessions on July 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30.

Student volunteers (the Liberty Cap Society) will show you around and answer any questions you may have. You’ll get a glimpse inside a residence hall, some academic buildings and other facilities like the Holland Union Building (student center), the Kline Center (athletics facilities) and the Waidner-Spahr Library.

On-campus Interviews

Interviews are optional, but they are a useful tool for determining a student's "fit" with the college. We encourage you to bring an unofficial transcript and activities resumé to the meeting. Interviews last approximately 35 minutes and are conducted by admissions counselors.

Interviews are typically offered on campus Monday through Friday at 1:15, 2:15 and 3:15 p.m. for rising seniors only. To confirm availability and schedule an interview in advance, please call us at 800-644-1773.. We will not offer interviews on July 2, 9, 16, 23, 25, and 30.

Off-campus Interviews

If you are unable to schedule an on-campus interview, off-campus interviews may be available in your area. Off-campus interviews are conducted by trained alumni and parent volunteers, admissions counselors and student interviewers. To confirm availability and schedule an off-campus interview in advance, please call us after August 25 at 800-644-1773.

Off-campus interviews are only offered from mid-September through the end of January.

These interviews must be requested at least three weeks before the application program deadline by which you are applying.
