All arts events listed in the Calendar of Arts are open to the public and are free, unless noted. Assistive Listening Devices are available to our patrons with a hearing impairment.
Tickets are $5 for major productions of the Department of Theatre & Dance. Reserve seats by calling the box office at 717-245-1327. Tickets for Dickinson College students are $3 by presenting college identification in person at the Mathers Theatre Box Office in the Holland Union Building (HUB) a day or more in advance of the performance. Box office hours begin on Monday of the week during which the play or concert opens. Unpaid reservations may only be made by phone and are held until 15 minutes before show time. Unclaimed reservations will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Walk-up customers at the box office must purchase tickets by cash or check.
The events scheduled here are presented by the college’s Department of Music and its musical ensembles and groups; The Trout Gallery; the Department of Theatre & Dance and its performing troupes; the Departments of Art & Art History and English; The Clarke Forum for Contemporary Issues; and other offices of the college. The programming spans a range of interests, time periods and art forms in an effort to entertain and inform.
