Science-oriented Dickinsonians get together at Woods HoleProfessor of Biology John Henson was awarded a Laura and Arthur Colwin Summer 2004 Research Fellowship to the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole, Mass. While conducting research at MBL with Christopher Fried ’05, Henson encountered another student, Jamie Deutch ’05, doing research in the lab of a scientist from the University of Texas Galveston Medical Center and two class of ’98 graduates, Samuel and Sarah Jablowski Kelsey. Sam, a former biology major, works at the Ecosystems Center of the Marine Biological Laboratory and has done studies in Alaska and Boston Harbor, while Sarah, a former geology major, works for the U.S. Geological Survey office that operates out of the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute. Below are photos of Henson and the student researchers at Woods Hole.
