In October, 1998, he was inducted into the Sports Hall of Fame (photo right, with former president A. Lee Fritschler). Along with his brothers Bob and Andrew, Ted has created "The Shooting Buddy," a training device for basketball players. The Kirkpatrick brothers and their invention were featured in an article in The Philadelphia Inquirer on December 26, 2001.
