Alumni In the News - January 2, 2002 Former Red Devil Helps Invent Basketball Aid |
Ted Kirkpatrick '86 set scoring records when he played basketball for Dickinson College. In October, 1998, he was inducted into the Sports Hall of Fame (photo right, with former president A. Lee Fritschler).
Along with his brothers Bob and Andrew, Ted has created "The Shooting Buddy," a training device for basketball players. The Kirkpatrick brothers and their invention were featured in an article in The Philadelphia Inquirer on December 26, 2001.
