Dickinson College has long been recognized as one of the top liberal arts colleges in the nation, but recently, the campus was celebrated for beauty, as well as brains.

According to an Aug. 28 article in the Harrisburg Patriot News, Dickinson's artful plant and flower displays, peaceful shaded areas, wisteria-topped patios and varied selection of trees rival those found in many botanical gardens, marking Dickinson's campus as one of the most picturesque and well-maintained havens in the region, and inspiring the newspaper’s gardening expert to grant Dickinson a perfect “garden ogling value” score of 5 out of 5.
