New Science COmplex News
On May 5, 2006, Dickinson began construction on its new science complex with a groundbreaking ceremony at North College and West Louther streets. After two years of construction, the Rector Science Complex now boasts two new halls at the corner of College and Louther streets—totaling 150,000 square feet and seamlessly connected to Tome Hall—that showcase Dickinson's revolutionary 21st-century approach to undergraduate science education.

The new additions will be dedicated at 4 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 24, with a reception and tours to follow. Stuart and James halls began holding classes this fall and house faculty from biology, psychology, chemistry and the interdisciplinary programs in neuroscience and biochemistry & molecular biology.
